The problem with many older websites is that they were built by graphic designers or website designers who wanted to build 'pretty' websites and the emphasis is on the look of the website. By nature, such people are good at designing but not so great at giving advice on how to build a successful business. So why would you entrust your Internet venture to someone who has little knowledge of the principles of succeeding online.
